Unitemps is the university-owned temporary staffing solution for the higher education sector.

Developed by the University of Warwick, we are different to most employment businesses in both culture and model. Unlike our commercial competitors, we work on a ‘people not profit’ approach, prioritising client experience over sales targets and our staff do not work on commission. The Unitemps Franchise Model has been tailored and developed specifically for the needs of Higher Education institutions and is a sector-leading solution to their financial, HR and student employability challenges.

Unitemps covers part-time and full-time assignments within academic institutions and external companies, through employing students, graduates and local people. From one-hour shifts to full-time work, we have the network and candidate base to fill assignments on the same day. Our temporary workers are reliable, intelligent and keen to make an impact, while our proven systems enable branches to run a complete recruitment service: attracting applications, processing timesheets and payroll, maintaining legislative compliance and monitoring departmental budgets.

Having started at the University of Warwick in 1997, Unitemps has grown, through the provision of the solution on a franchise basis, into a successful international service operating from a multitude of universities.
